Free PTSD and Trauma Self-Test
A short, private check-in on how past experiences may be affecting you now.
After something frightening or painful, it’s normal to feel shaken for a while. But if memories keep coming back, you’re avoiding reminders, or you feel numb or always on guard, the experience may still be affecting you. This self-test can help you notice those patterns.
It’s based on the PC-PTSD-5, a screening tool created by the VA’s National Center for PTSD. It’s 6 short yes or no questions. You won’t be asked to describe what happened. Your results aren’t a diagnosis, but they can help you decide whether to talk with someone.
At Insight Recovery Mental Health, our clinicians offer trauma-informed care, including EMDR. Learn more about trauma and PTSD.
