We’re thrilled to share that our Clinical Director, Sarah Carpenter, alongside Lead Therapist Tianna Guerra, represented Insight Recovery Mental Health at the 30th Annual OCD Conference, hosted by the International OCD Foundation in Chicago from July 11–14, 2025.

A Premier Gathering in the OCD Community

This year marked a major milestone—three decades of dedicated education, support, and advocacy. The event, held at the Marriott Marquis Chicago, welcomed in-person participants and around 80% of sessions were also livestreamed for virtual attendees. With nearly 3,000 total attendees—ranging from individuals living with OCD, family members, researchers, and an estimated 43% mental‑health professionals —the conference was nothing short of inspiring.

What They Experienced: Sessions, Networking & More at The OCD Conference

Sarah and Tianna immersed themselves in a comprehensive lineup of:

  • Research Symposium sessions on cutting‑edge studies and emerging treatment methodologies
  • Expert-led workshops, therapeutic skill‑building, and evidence-based interventions
  • Keynote addresses and plenary sessions featuring renowned clinicians and those with lived experience
  • The exhibit hall, including a meet & greet where new tools, apps, and therapeutic innovations were on display

Beyond the sessions, our therapists connected with fellow professionals at networking mixers and shared stories and support with community members—capturing the empathetic spirit that runs through IOCDF events.
